Nikko and I have 3 children – Jock 7 (grade 2) Sandy 5 (prep) and Ruby 2. We live on one of our cattle stations outside for Richmond and Julia Creek along with a team of 8-12 staff we call family, from all walks of life and ages.
I have been teaching the boys full time this year as well as wearing the many other hats required to run the stations and live where we live.
I’m seeking someone to support me with (mainly) Sandy’s learning of the fundamental foundational work of letters, sounds, writing and reading. I am not a qualified teacher and don’t feel like I have the right tools or resources to support him and keep him moving forward.
We are enrolled with Mt Isa School of the Air and they have a wonderful team of teachers but unfortunately they can’t give any more time then what they already do.
We have available to you, your own private dwelling with bathroom, air conditioning and unlimited wifi. All meals are provided and dinners cooked for you.
We have a very close community here on the station and ensure we take plenty of time to play sport, socialize and celebrate the small things.
The children love to be a part of our work environment and will take any opportunity to go mustering, brand cattle, drive machinery or simply caring for and feeding the small animals that roam our homestead.
