Help is required for two children in Einasleigh, NQ. The children are studying through Charters Towers School Distance Ed, Prep and Year 2.
Our son really needs someone to sit with him, as he has autism, to ensure that he stays focused and also prompting him when it is his turn on audio lessons. He requires guidance and support as needed for his lessons. Our daughter, in Prep, needs a lot of tactile work, using creative arts to help her stay engaged. Mum would really like to ensure that the kids stay engaged during their schooling. Mum is happy to work with one whilst the tutor/s work with the other child if necessary.
Our school room is an office/schoolroom inside our house. At the moment we can offer a full 3 bedroom house in town or space for a caravan (with power, toilet and shower etc in the house) – whatever is easiest. The spare house is across the road from the family.
Our town offers lots to do – there is Copperfield Gorge nearby, Cobbold Gorge 3 hours away, Kidston dam an hour away, 3.5hrs to Atherton (30km of dirt) and 4hrs to Charters Towers (70km of dirt). Both roads have been graded and are good to access for suv type cars.
Help would be appreciated whenever possible.
