We are looking for a home tutor to support our 3 boys, Mason (grade 3), Archer (grade 1), Rory (Prep) through Capricornia school of distance education Monday – Friday 8am – 3pm.
We are searching for a passionate educator who is willing to create a safe and positive atmosphere in the schoolroom, our boys are very active and need extra attention to help them achieve their goals in schooling.
Your main role:
– Helping the boys with their online lessons.
– Planning and teaching offline lessons, including e-teach subjects, handwriting, reading, sightwords, spelling and extra curricular activities.
– Assisting the boys to help keep the schoolroom clean and tidy.
We provide: Internet and power, beef and a beautiful horizon for some of the most spectacular sunrises and sunsets.
We are a loving, friendly family who want the best for our children and an equal education. We are welcoming and will provide all training needed to get started.
We live 80km from Clermont with only 7km dirt road. Clermont is a social and vibrant town with Theresa Creek Dam only 20km up the road, a beautiful weekend spot for camping, fishing and water sports.
Local sports available for participation.
Our property is 3rd generation owned and run by family, the boys grandparent and uncle also live on station
The accommodation is a 1 x bedroom newly renovated cottage which also contains the schoolroom.
Shaun works on the property as a station hand and Hayley works from home 2-3 days per week whilst looking after Laney. If possible Laney would love to visit the schoolroom 2 x days per week for a few hours of playtime.
