We would love someone to come and help out during our busy times of mustering. The job is super flexible to suit your requiements but someone to help either one primary and one secondary student with their day to day school work or just take the load off mum and help out with 1 child. There is plenty of time for outside the schoolroom fun with the kids too – they would love to show you our property and share afternoon picnics, swimming, playing with the animals or just playing. They love having someone else to share their day with.
There is a social crew here and we enjoy having a BBQ on a weekend or getting involved in local community events.
If you are interested in experiencing the station work side of things we are always open to that – the kids love going to the yards and having a cook up for smoko with dad and the crew – lots of opportunities for great photos too!
some cooking with the kids may also be required – just smokos and fun things
We are approximately 85km from Croydon, 70km of which is reasonable dirt – the road is being worked on at the moment. A normal car should be able to get along with no problems. Caravan access is possible also.
We have a one bedroom self contained cottage available for use if you don’t have a caravan, complete with kitchenette, microwave, and stove. The wifi works at the house complex and there is no mobile phone service. The cottage is approximately 100m from the house. The school room is in a donga, separate to the main house.
Any help at any time would be appreciated – singles or couples. Meals are eaten together however food options are flexible.
