Hi all, I’m looking for a helping hand in the school room for a few weeks or how ever long you can offer.
We are a family of five who live, work, own and run our 45,000 acre sheep, cattle and goat farm in S.W. Queensland. I (Hannah) teach my three children in the morning and then we all get involved in farm projects in the afternoon.
I’m looking for some help with teaching to free me up a bit to get some much needed farm work completed!
My Grade 5 son, Grade 4 son and Grade 1 daughter – all do school via distance education through Charleville SDE.
A lot of lessons are done via a zoom type platform and the children will just need supervision during this time, between lessons the home tutor (myself) delivers the other paper lessons such as HASS, Science, Art, HPE etc.
Any extra activities like leaning music /doing science experiments/ arts and crafts etc etc would be greatly valued as our children do not have much exposure to these things with school time restrictions and our distance from town.
We have modern en-suite cabins you are welcome to stay in and I’m happy to cook for you most nights. Or you can plug your caravan in to power if you prefer.
we are 100k south of Mitchell in qld, a cute country town with an Artesian Spa and country shops.
A freshly graveled and graded road means you can make it here towing a caravan with no drama.
